If you later need to install on another machine and can't find the disc, you can download the software from. You wlll notice that the functions are not greyed out. I don’t think that they will do that tascam us 428 mac, as the still sell some similar hardware which still presumably uses some of the same code just a guess. A few months later Frontier released the universal driver.
Yes, the Tascam us will work as long as Lion is booted up in bit mode. I think Alesis has something simular and along the same portability as the Tascam USso some might have to tascam us 428 mac ship with Tascam.
